Social Emotional Learning

The Storytellers Project social/emotional learning curriculum is designed to increase emotional intelligence and healthy stress management skills in youth by encouraging the use of arts as a self-regulation tool. This program examines essential questions that ask children to express their feelings, identify healthy stress management tools, build empathy and recognize their strengths.

Grades: K-5

8-10 Week Sessions

$80 per hour/any part of an hour


Our Impact

85% of students reported they had fun and felt The Storytellers Project instructors care about them.

100% of youth participants were able to identify at least one healthy coping skill.

67% of Students were able to define empathy.


STEAM based SEL

The SEL/STEAM curriculum explores social emotional learning through hands on STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics) activities. Students learn SEL concepts that include problem solving, identity, perseverance, coping with frustration, teamwork, and mindfulness while simultaneously exploring concepts such as 3-D forms, the laws of physics and developing number sense.
